We went on our 1st ride this weekend up in the U.P.(1st of the year & 1st with the phazer). Not a lot of traffic at all. Most of the trails had been groomed so they were not too bad. A lot of fluff on the base. I think I'm going to like the phazer once I get it dialed in. There in lies the questions. I did a lot of research on this site even before riding it. I have installed the anti-bottoming kit, torsion springs spacers, tunnel block off kit, a-arm shim kit, Bergstrom triple points, ski savers & ski shims. I have the front shocks set to the lowest point, the center set to 2 clicks up from the bottom, tightend the limiter strap up 1 set of holes, and have the rear spring rate on "H". I have not checked the toe in/out. I'm 170 lbs. The sled is a base model. Do you guys see anything out of the ordinary here that would help the handling? What should my toe in/out be? It seems to push thru the corners (that could be the fact that I'm not used to it and it was fluffy). Any other tricks or info would be great. BTW, I went through A LOT of past pages and figured it was easier just to ask (or ramble on). Thanks for all the help.

im not much for trail riding myself, so cornering isnt important to me but i have heard the phazer will benefit from a new set of skis....plus, i like to "steer with the rear" myself and that was one thing i very much enjoy about my phazer. :)

best of luck!

"...Steer with the rear.." I did notice that it did help. I need to ride more, I just was looking for suggestions. Am I close and need to fine tune or am I out in left field? The off trail/ powder riding/getting stuck was a blast and it would take a lot more effort with my old sled.

not sure how well you will be able to get things where you want them with base front shocks, but i would try new skis and most seem to like switching tracks....i went with a 136x1.75 track and ulmer clutch kit....the few miles i have on it it seems to have really made a big difference....now i just need more snow
