for those with excell exhaust i have an easy question.
i need to get to my seat to adjust the front because its loose and i dont know how to remove the new excell exhaust cover without possibly breaking it.
does it just pry off? i have the rear tailight cover off and cannot seem to find any screws to remove the excell cover.
cheers

Not sure what you mean by excell cover. If you have the tail light cover off then I'm guessing you mean the side covers.
The screws for them are straight down from the top at the back and front of them but first you must remove the seat. Two pain in the butt nuts that are hard to get off after the excell conversion.
The side covers do not need to be removed to remove the seat!

Do you have the two 10mm nuts off that hold the rear of the seat down?

yes..... i know about the two nuts but cant get to it with the excell aftermarket piece in there. i see two holes on the top but its not a straight shot down to eyeball it. does it just take a long philips screwdriver to remove from above??

Yes a long screwdriver will reach. There is one on each side.

ok thanks
I use a long 1/4 ext and a deep 10mm socket. There is a small dimple on each side of the exhaust outlet to insert the socket. It will line up with the bolts that hold down the seat. After removing the seat you use a long #3 philips screwdriver to remove the screws thru the small access hole in the top of the cover.
