Anybody tried out the new FOX air spring shocks yet (Yamaha accessory)?
Anybody got a lead on where to get them cheaper?
I've got the Ohlins on the front of the Warrior, now am thinking of doing something about the rear. Or should I go M10 rather?

Fox Air shocks (NO SPRING) are new in the consumer market and give them a year. They only come for the front.

So, how much better does the M10 work, Jim?
I've heard some complaints of instability at high speed or on stutter bumps. especially if not set up exactly right...

Get me some snow and I will tell you, but just sitting on has a lot of sit in and plushness.

Ive heard on the artic cat site that they dont blow out easily and take full on snow cross punishment..
My personal feelings are this... What happens when they blow??? IS it like a poped balloon??
Is 4 pounds worth taking a chance of getting stranded on the trail if they blow?

The first SnowTech issue this season has a good article on the Fox shocks. My copy is at the office, but they were pretty positive about the shocks. What I remember was the installation was easy, once the PSI was set it stayed constant all season, the ride was better. How much better is speculation, but they really liked the shocks.

Yes, I saw that article as well. They were testing the front shocks.
I don't want to mess with my Ohlins front shocks, as the front end is now working well. The Ohlins & Powderpro skis / skegs went a long way towards curing the ski-push and inside ski lift on corners I was experiencing at the beginning of last season.
However, a little more resistance to bottoming and a slightly plusher ride out of the skid frame wouldn't go amiss.

Some people had good results with the rear kit from Maxximum Performance last season. Go to their web site and check out the rear suspension kit, and you could probably search the site to see who posted good results. The kit is cheaper than a set of fox shocks.
