I have a le btx with evol3 shocks so suppose to be premium upgrade. rode my buddys basic se sled and they both kinda ride stiff and rougher then we would like. am i using the evols wrong? not sure the theory behind the extra resy? thought could set initial softer to have the rsy back up for big bumps, is there a way to revalve these for a better ride? i had pioneer revalve my shock on my apex years ago was best sled ever rode. this one is killing me its so stiff, im a good 300 with gear plus

You have tried playing around with different air pressures? 5lbs one way or another makes a bit of a difference on my floats.

I have Evol's on my Float 3's. There are a few things that you need to heed to get the right ride out of them.
First, ski's need to be in the air with no pressure on them.
Second: fill the evol chamber first (mine are around 190)
Third: then fill the main chamber (mine are around 75)
For the rear's make sure the skid is in the air use the back shock main chamber to set the ride height. I have mine set so there is about an inch of sag under its own weight (80) . My evol's are set at around 190. Adjust your front skid shock so as you have the steering feel you like. More pressure will take weight off the ski's and make it steer easier but also will make it a bit rougher and you may have push depending on your ski's.
Set them, then adjust as needed. 5 lbs makes a huge difference. Here is a pdf from Fox that helps explain a lot of this stuff. https://www.ridefox.com/fox17/dl/snow/605-00-125_REV_C.pdf
I am about 250lbs geared up and carry a 20 lb tunnel bag as a reference point.

thanks so your rear rear is set at 80 and that gives you about 1 inch of sag?I have Evol's on my Float 3's. There are a few things that you need to heed to get the right ride out of them.
