Well i hit something on the trail and bent my front heat exchanger and need to replace , question i have is will i have to take drivers out or can i get at all the rivets from the clutch and chaicase sides, doesnt seem to be any rivets at top of exchanger

I've done one before on an Attak. There are rivets across the top and both sides. You will need to drop the driveshaft out of it.

there is a total of 26 rivets, and your rear engine bolt(about 17" in length has to come out, and a few other rivets)... had to do one 2 years ago.. If you are able to weld in the sled do it... other than replacing the front bulkhead this is one of the biggest jobs to do on an apex. the front rad is the first thing installed on the tunnel and the last thing supposed to come out, it acts as part of the frame.... just my 2c..

Thanks guys for the responses, good thing its the end of the year for my riding, will take my time and get it right ;)!
