I have a 2003 RX-1 and the two carbs on the PTO side of the engine are not getting fuel from the fuel pump (I suspect). It will idle and run slightly on the bottom end, but nothing at all above a move across the driveway.
I read somewhere that if you put some vacuum on the fuel pump, it should draw fuel. It seems like it does.............. Both seem to draw equally....
I have a little electric fuel pump I use pump gas out of old sleds, I put that on the two nipples on the tank and can easily draw fuel from the tank......
Could I have a plugged fuel filter in the tank that is too hard for the fuel pumps to suck through? How do I get at those to check? Through the front of the tank or through the gas cap side?
Anyone have a better angle on this issue?

i believe the pumps run off pulses and not vacuum. switch the lines and see if the problem remains. the filters are accessable through the cap, use a coat hanger to catch them. i think the flow from one pump will run the sled so you could tee the lines for now till you find another pump. check the classifieds for parts guys.
