I know this is a worn topic and that someone is going to suggest I do a search but I tried that and got too many results and couldn't find the answer to my question so I decided to just ask it. What Size fuel shut offs do you use for an '05 RX-1? And what kind of shut offs is everyone using? I figure they are easy to install and better safe than sorry but I want to make sure I get the right part the first time around.

sorry - off the top of my head can't remember the i.d. of the fuel line, BUT... I've used the plastic small engine style (briggs & straton) on four 4 storke sled with zero issues... I dont' think the extra $$ on the metal ones is necessary, but they do look nicer.....

You can Likely get these right at your dealer, I did. I thin they were 1/4" inside diameter. I put them on my '03 RX-1 and did not even mount them solid to the frame or a bracket. Just offset them so they look almost like they are side by side and the fuel lines hold them just fine. I think I just used small size tie wraps as hose clamps.

Like WarriorBeads, I use the Briggs and Stratton plastic shut offs as well, 1/4" diameter. They are only a couple of bucks each versus the $10+ metal shutoffs. You can easily find them at a snowblower/lawnmower/tractor dealer.

I used the same on my Warrior and I got them from NAPA. They were $5 each. I had zero issues during the two years and 4500 miles I had on my Warrior.
