wil yamaha offer an upgrade or something for the 08 nytros?? If the XTX front end is even better. or can we mod it ourselves via the mods on this site?

heres what posted on YMP.ca

REVISED FRONT GEO.
What we're learning in our Snow Cross and Cross Country racing programs is being transferred to the showroom as quickly as possible. 10 changes in the front end alone include new a-arms, new tie-rods, new spindles, new ski rubber and more... all designed to improve overall handling and bump stability. These geometry changes also improve predictability and stability, and allow for flatter cornering. Steering effort is more consistent, while bump steer is reduced. Tracking and darting are also reduced. This all adds up to improved confidence, no matter where you ride.

Well, considering that a lot of FX Nytro owners are experiencing some kind of tweak in the front end of their sled, whether it be due to soft or hard impact, and even none whatsoever, I'd say these updates and changes are enough evidence alone to suggest that this class of sled needed these improvements. Whether or not 08 owners will receive any of them under warranty, or "good will" as they call it, depends on each individuals specific situation that requires the attention. Bottom line, If anything is considered to be stronger in the front end, I feel they should upgrade it for 08 owners at no cost. My 2c.

Keep Dreaming. Yamaha was reluctant to give Handle bars when the 06 Apex's hand warmers didn't work.

I highly doubt there will be any good will on a New Front end.

I don't think the 09's will be any stronger at all, just handle better.... Kinda sucks that we need to bring our front ends to the welding shop to make a decent sled... Even though it rides like an old lady sled compared to my nytro 136, my 05 Renegade is the sled I have been using lately. At least I can get some range on a tank of gas, I can carry gas, and the front end is decently strong..
