Anyone that's running gates belt have a clunky shift, especially going from reverse to forward? I switched from the 8dn to a gates 8jp equivalent and now my sled is very clunky when shifting. I've played with belt deflection I have the osp adjuster and even with the treads even with the secondary it's still clunky. Switched bake to t 8dn to test and it was quiet again
To me a clunky shift sounds like a belt deflection issue. Sounds a little snug.

Not familiar with the problem you are describing but just wondering if there is a possibility that the clunky shifting is being caused by your chain in the chaincase being too loose?
Have you checked the chain adjuster/tension lately?

Sure you don't have a broken primary spring? I had the same problem and that is what it was.
