Well, boys just got back from the maiden voyage. Put about 40 miles on the phazer today. And I am absolutely in love with it. It definately lacks power but it makes up for itself with it's boondocking ability.

I can honestly say I've never ridden a sled that was as fun and easy to ride. This sled freaking loves the deep powder, it carves so easily. I can lay it right over while sitting down and going from one side to another is a breeze. I just can't believe it's as much fun as it is.

On my old Cat 900 I had to be pinned to keep it up on it's side and carving, but on the phazer I can just crawl at 5mph and do it. It's a blast to play on, I am very happy with it so far.

And a turbo on this thing would be incredible. In all honesty, I don't think there is a better riding sled on the market. The supension is awesome, and just begs to be jumped. It handles great, and is pretty snappy on the bottom end. It's a dream on the trails as well.

Glad to hear the positive response!
I picked up my mtn lite yesterday and I know I won't be sleeping until I get a chance to break it in! The consensus around town is that it lacks power(though it still can surprise you), but otherwise, it couldn't be more fun! All in all, I think the phaz

After riding a 900 Arctic Cat last season I definatley notice a power loss. But this sled is a riot, I'm very pleased with it.

It lacks power? Compared to what? Does it have less power than something other than 80hp? When you drive a 5 liter Mustang and hop into the wife's Nissan Sentra, you'll notice a lack of hp in that senario also. But does that really make sense to compare the two?

For those getting on a Phazer from higher horsepower sleds, you need to be enlightened that the Phazer was never advertised to run with the big dogs. It's not its intended purpose.

I completely agree with you ecopter. I wasn't suggeting that this sled wasn't what I hoped it would be. Because in all honesty the phazer has far surpassed my expectations for it.

I love this machine, I sold my 900 because I wanted to get away from the big muscle machines, and I thought that this new fx chassis was the way to go for the style of riding I like to do. So that's why I bought.

Like I stated before, I am very pleased with the sled...
