Picked it up today at Nelson's in Greenville. :D LaLaLa Boy is it going to be a long fall. The sled is absolutely beautiful. (hey its a YAMAHA) Now comes the 6 or 9" shaper bars, a new GPS mount, Alarm/remote starter, communicator power, Front Ohlin shocks, Fat guy rear spring, New blue chrome clam shell and blue handlebar gaurds. Oh! and maybe a FUZZ BUSTER! LOL.

One thing I keep looking at and I don't know if anyone has asked is this--"will the nose cone storage box from the RX-1 fit in the Nose cone area on the front of the Apex/Attak?" ;)!

at the ty 06 demo ride back in feb, they did say they would put some kind of storage in there. That nose area is the same as RX below the hoodline as the RX skid plate is supposed to fit. But they did add an aluminum cross bar to which the new hood hooks onto. That would likely be the major hurdle, seeing if that crossbar is in the way.

Tork, I printed off the page from the online parts catalog that shows the front box and took a good look at the nose cone area last night and it looks like your right. That's kind of a bummer.

Hey SupeR,
Do a google on 'Klein 5139' and 'Ideal 35-402'
They are zippered canvas tool pouches.
You might be able to wire tie those to the crossbar, or the belly pan.
I got to look for a metal grommet kit (like the you would have on a pool cover to hook a bungee cord to) so the fabric doesnt eventually tear thru.
