Got mine today also. First thing I did was made some spacers for the upper limitter strap from some 1" schedude 40 tubingto keep the strap in place.

I am hearing a lot about the spacer keeping the limiter strap in place. Is this a necessity?
AD Bovein didnt think it was necessarry but I went over to the hardware store and picked up a foot of 1 " schedule 40 PVC pipe. If I remember corectly I needed two pieces 1 7/8" long.

You are correct, I talked with them this AM. They said if the strap is tight, it should not move. The operative word was "should".
I just used some heavy duty zip ties on each side of the limiter strap and mine hasn't moved since I got the skid.
