Hers the deal... The Yamaha DVD is available in the USA only. It was distributed in Snow Tech magazine and is simple running action footage dealers have or can get more.

In Canada there is a CDrom that includes all the same footage with the addition of a whole lot of engineering stuff, accessories and specs. They are available at any Yamaha Canada dealership and have been mailed to customers who purchased a new Yammie during the past couple of years.

LB in my case you might be right I did'nt get a CD and my buddy with an 02 Viper did! not quite sure how Yamaha decided who to send it too I got one when i went to the Yamaha dog and ponie show the otherday makes more sense to send it to those that don't have one then those that do! :?

I haven't seen the new key, but I assumed it would be like the keys from Audi and Volkswagon, where the key "flips" out from an enclosed space on the key ring. If so, kind of like a gadget from my perspective. I would have preferred a smart key system to reduce sled thefts.

If someone's planning on stealing a sled, they'll come in the middle of the night with either a truck or a strap to drag it on... unless they're kids, who couldn't possibly get RX1 to start for a joyride anyways - not like the old sleds you just had to pull the keyswitch wire off of.

Think about this... whats needed to hotwire this sucker? Even *if* the ignition will work with the keyswitch yanked, you gotta get that sucker to crank.... the starter electrical is all hidden down under the airbox.
