 We had about 3 inches of wet fluff that fell overnight, so I had to scratch the itch. Granted, it was just playing around the neighborhood, but enough to take the edge off my jones. Initial impressions, this thing is wicked snappy, no hesitation now that my carbs are synched up, and a real hair raising snarl when you wack it. I love the quiet refined noises it makes too when your just cruising, can't wait to get this thing in some open country. We also had my neighbors new stock Vector out with it, and it also ran nice (although his track was so loose it was ratcheting). Very impressed with both sleds, although the little tweaks I did to mine can really be felt. Thanks again Freddie....... ;)!

Good for you dude.. Sucks for me so far. #$%&* Mine still sitting on the trailer. Did you get to ride the vector at all? MM. :ORC

Yes I did ride the Vector Max.....I think you're going to be extremely pleased. It's hard to describe just how smooth and refined the sled feels compared to a two stroke. The Vector did indeed feel lighter in the front end, and very punchy. I wished his track was adjusted properly cuz it was really ratcheting badly, and I couldn't really give it a good wack. My other impressions were that it carved very nicely, felt planted better than my REV in that sense. The other thing that is all new to me (on a sled) is the engine braking. I've had several 4 stroke dirtbikes (YZfs), and it's actually something you can use to your advantage, cuz you can hold the throttle on longer into a corner. They sound very similar until you open them up, and you can distinguish between the different rev characteristics of them.

I think the engine braking will be my biggest adjustment on the Vector. I test drove one this summer and thought the throttle was verrrrry touchy. The sound shouln't be as strong as the RX.. Something about a 4-=banger winding out..I do think the Vector will sound pretty cool at redline. ;)! Was it as smooth as your SRX? Or has it been to long... :4STroke: MM.

Wolfie, Where in Ct are you located? I'm in New Milford. We got a few inches here also. ;)!

It's hard to believe their's a smoother sled than an SRX, but these 4 strokes are, they're like sewing machine smooth. I live in Ellington Bob btw, about 12 miles northeast of Hartford, below Enfield. I'm loving this new sled bigtime.

Hey wolfie, it's a good thing you took all that stolen chrome off of your sled before those pictures were taken. Ya did a good job hiding the evidence. And now I am completely jealous. You got snow and your sled and you were able to ride??????? If we dont get some snow soon I think I will explode.................Cubby

The amount of snow we had is not enough to ride. I am sure the "riding" the wolfman is talking about results in a few squirts up and down a field near his home. The snow is already gone as I write this. It was in the mid 50's here today.

Glad your happy wolfman! ;)!

Yeah, no doubt, I put a total of 4 miles on, nothing to write home about, but enough to get a little taste of what this winter will be like. I will be needing some grass seed this spring however, this is for sure. Snow is pretty much toast as of this afternoon. It's still WAAAYY early. I know alot of guys who don't even have their 05s ready yet (Fusions, MachZs in particular)
