Had some fun with a 600ho e-tek

On hard pack I smoke my buddies Etec, on loose meally snow it is very close up to 100.

There is something seriously wrong with a apex if it gets beat by a 600 lol. None of the 600's around here can compare to my apex mtx and lastyear i ran a nytro mtx at the races and none of the 600's could touch that on radar or drags not even close. I have ran my apex against a 800 summit xp and a assult 800 and i can beat them on radar and drag on my apex mtx i was surprised so the 600's should be a joke.

Not sure how strong the Apex's you guys have.... guess mine must be weak. I own an '03 600HO REV and my'09 Apex LTXGT is no match for it... embaressing.. espicially if there's more than 15cm of fresh snow.

Wow, something is wrong. My buddy has a new 2010 E-Tech 600, the thing is very quick, but my Apex as well as my son's Nytro beats it every time. Out of the hole we are pretty close, but then I pull away from my son's Nytro about the same as the Nytro pulls the Doo. If we are running about 30-40 and hit it, not even close!

Put both machines in about 20cms or more of snow and see who's embarassed.... The Apex just can not get on plane and dies fast, mine tops about 110km/hr while the 600 shows about 140 and the way it pulls away there's at least a 20-30km/hr difference. There's quite a few around here and it the same story when riding in conditions a snowmobile was meant for.
As for the 600 top end on hard pack, which I ride very seldom as no fun doing straight line.. gets boring in a hurry, on GPS it has shown 178km/hr on ideal conditions. Thats close to what I've read on here any Apex will do.

thought i might add i spanked an 800 POO SHIFT.. sled had a new power commander, slp pipe, remapped the ecu, and had specialty mfg weights put in (polaris doesnt make the right weights)

He got a jump on me from the start (not even a sled length) also he has 144 chisel picks and a hacksaw track so really i thought he would get ahead of me more than that.

after about 200 ft the good ole 06 ER walked right by the shift and never looked back
