I finally got the suspension update back in, shocks re-valved, sled serviced and we've got 5" of snow so I was dying to get the sled out for a first rip on snow since getting it in Sept..
Took it over in the farmers alphalfa field for a few passes, love the low end grunt & MBRP sound
So much different than the Firecat was, should be a blast real soon!

Question is:
Do they all steer really hard? It's wicked stiff and you have to muscle it. I've got Curve XS skis w/ 9.5 shaper bars and just thought maybe it's due to lack of snow and they're diggin' in good.
Any feedback is appreciated ;)!

I think 9.5 inches is a lot, most rides are running 6 i think.

They (the skis) were on my F5 Firecat when I had it, handled great. I can't see buying new carbides for skis that have only 700 miles on them.

then maybe back off on the limitar strap to take some of the pressure away.

I probally won't know much until I can actually get it out on the trails and take it for a 100 mile ride & do some minor trailside tweaking on it.

~Let it snow :-o

Ya, don't panic yet, most would love extra turning, but 9+ inches of carbide is a lot for these sleds. If it handles good, run um, they'll wear down.

I find my hard to turn when going slow but once you are up to speed it is fine. Take time to learn this sled, it is different to ride but a blast once you master it.

Thanks Sean,
I took the skis off my F5 Firecat before I sold it, so Nick's to blame for putting such a big carbide on 'em in the first place LOL ;)!

I'll have to stop up and see that boy!!
