i have a moutain and find this the steers awefull, rode my old sxr today and was thinkin i should have kept riding it, way more fun to play with and you dont have to fight it tto turn, this thing darts , dives and is just flat out hard to turn , i am putting c@a pro skis on it hoping that might help and next the wide front end, this narroe stance cost me a dash this weekend, tippy +darting+digging in = rollover was not happy but atleast the hood is still ok

How is your alingment- sounds like you have excessive toe out- thats the first thing I would check. How tight are your front springs set?

i tightend up the front springs because the dam thing would bottom out on the hard bumps, i try to ride cross country like my sxr but it dont swallow the bumps very well, can you believe the price of that sled and steel body shocks in the rea, i just about sh*t when i seen that, but ya, my front end seems to bottom out to easy, alot better now that i adjusted the springs tighter, iw ill check the tow but i dont theink its out,my limiters still have some room to drop out though, might take some more weight of the skis, tranfer rods are all the way out and still doesnt trasnfer i like lots of things about it and then theres the handling, dont like

I was in the mountains a week ago and my sled was diving bad!! I went back to the hotel and checked alinement. What a HUGE diff!! Runs completely different, and feels safe now too! Honk

I have had my warrior for 6 weeks and couldn`t get used to how bad it handled. last week bought a pair of ski-doo precision skis. now my sled handles like it`s on rails and is still easy to steer no darting at all. i`ve come to love these skis in one week end. and they were easy to install. :D

Adding a set of woody dualies would have done the same thing.. BEST INVESTMENT I EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!

If you look at the imprint in the snow that your skis make, you will see the profile leaves a deep trench. It is hard to turn the ski, when it is imbedded in the snow. Before you buy different skis, that don't have this deep keel, try letting your limiter out. You will take some weight off the skis, and they will turn easier.

RXWhopper, I have the Simmons Flexi-Ski on my RX-1 and Sketr also has a set on his Warrior. We were riding across a lake with at least 2 feet of snow last weekend. We both noticed how the Simmons skis stayed right on top of the snow and handled the power conditions perfectly. I bought the skis for better steering, which they do, and the powder conditions were just a bonus. This is not a cheap option since they run about $400 US, but they will dramatically improve the steering on your sled.

I have an 03 shorty with 4400 miles on it and I was also having a hard time turning it. This year i bought a set of woodys dual runners and also backed off on the limiter strap to 12 threads showing on the top side and also loosened up the front springs about 6 mm and what a difference it made. easy to turn and handles better that ever..
