I was wondering if anyone has put a turbo or supercharger on the 120 motor on here. I see a few on Snowest that have done it but I was interested to see how they went a little closer to sea level versus the mountains. I really like the sled but would really love to make it faster using boost rather than trying a NOS setup which I know I'd be running out of all the time.

I have put an MPI s/c on a 2005 vector, ride at 1200 ft.About 1000 miles and alot of time into it. Have not rode this year yet,all on pump gas.

Go to the 4 Stroke Turbo/Supercharger section. Off hand I can tell you that Woodsrider has one.

Well I went to the turbo section first but it seems all I could find was rx1's and the new 150 motor with SC's and turbos.

If you read thru this post you will find a bunch of guys with vector turbos.

If you go to the search function and type in "vector and turbo" and look in the turbo/superchager section you will find 111 posts that have info from guys with turbo and possibly supercharged 3 cylinders.

You just have to take the time to read thru them. There may be 10 references to 4 cylinder turbos but there will also be some that have 3 cylinders.

I ran a Vector Mtn turbo for a year. Rode it in the Mtns and at 2000'. Was a great motor. Went to the Apex for the chassis and EFI. Really enjoyed the Vector.

If you really like this sled then you will love it boosted! It really brings this sled to life. It is not bad for a 600 class motor but with the turbo you'll clean up on aything naturally aspirated.

The vector has a very wide torque band because of this it responds quickly when boosted. I have a front mount on mine and the response is comparable to fuel injection. I was talking to one turbo builder and was told that a vector he just put together would pull on his boosted apex on the trail, he contributed this to the different tracks the sled were running, both sleds were running pump gas. Up in the mountains the apex was the winner for up hill drags.

if i were to do it again i would go with the boondocker side mount. in fact i might do it anyway.

I put an MPI supercharger on a 2005 Mountain Vector. I have about 2 hours on it at sea level, and 30 hours on it at 9,000 foot elevation.

I love it. Tuning was easy and I am not done pulling power out of this little monster. At sea level it is nuts. At elevation it better than anything I have ever ridden (except a boosted Apex).
