Thinking about going with one of Hauck's clutch set ups. Anyone have any comments or suggestions about them? Any likes or dislikes?
Thanks

I am sure you know this, but make sure you tell whoever you are buying the clutch kit from what type of riding you do. That way they can give you the kit, or the information to dial it in close. I had that problem with Hauck. I never spoke up, and he made the setup great for a drag across the lake, but when it came to trail riding, and getting that fun back shift it wasn't what I wanted. It took them a couple times, but they got it close. So if you ditch bang, trail ride whatever; they will need to know. Along with weight, and how hard you ride. Sure you know. A lot of the companies make a quality clutch; just hard to judge a clutch that has never been setup, or wasn't designed for your riding style.

I have setup a few Hauck kits, Very nice to set-up and customers have been happy. I was gonna get one myself this year for my Apex, but now you guys got me thinking Ulmer. Ulmer is a little more money, and definitly more for me cause i got a dealer discount at hauck. When I get one it will definitly be one of these two.

I had good luck with Hauck on 2-strokes, but they were off on my Apex. I lost top speed big time. While working with them, they seemed to be guessing on what to do to fix it. I didn't use Ulmer's kit, but i use his commanders & gained huge mid range. Ulmer will talk to you while he's eating dinner. I could barely get a hold of Hauck techs. Just my personal experience...
