Hauck exhaust

I have an 06 apex and I'm thinking of getting a hauck exhaust. Does it require a programmer and clutching? If it does and I didn't get the programmer and clutching will it run like crap and or hurt the engine?

I just put one on my 07 I was told by hauck that no programmer was needed guys on here say it can run lean on bottom end giving a slight hesitation when starting out I did also put a programmer on mine do it would clear that up I haven't had a chance to try yet but I notice since putting it on the low idle crap has stoped and it idles 1600 where it use to drop back to 1000 I got mine from Ulmer racing and also got his clutch kit .. I think u will be fine with out the programmer just my 2 cents

It will not run like crap or hurt the engine,yes it will run better with a programmer and clutching,but not necessary.i have a Full Exhaust system,with my own custom cut airbox with no issues.heads up,its loud!

My 06 RTX with Hauck ran very lean till about 1/2 throttle. Add a fuel programmer from hauck and clean it up.
