HAUCK SPRING HELP....

Have a bunch of Hauck's primary springs & not sure what engagment they will give me?

Putting them on 97 SX 700 Asphalt sled & looking for 5000 engagement & don't have time to try them all this week before racing Saturday!

Have solid yellow, black spring with yellow, black spring with silver & black spring with yellow-silver-yellow.

Any info will be great!!!

I still have my 97 700sx race sled and to get a 5000 rpm engagement I used the Hauck blue spring. Dont think any of those springs you mentioned will engage that high. I would run the yellow/silver/yellow....should be about 4300 engagement.

Have solid black in now & its at 6000 & we have belt slip bad! All yellow spring would be 5400-5500 I was told. Might try that. To much work this week to test or figure anything out! Thinking of just throwing the black spring in with yellow & see what happens....
Rain is a pain in the azz lately too, so testing is tough!

Well.....Ran to the shop at lunch & thru the black spring with yellow on the sled & it looks like its 5000 engagement on the stand.

We'll see how she runs with that Saturday!
