Hey I just decided I'm going this year I'm super excited I've never been there before. I am planning on roughing it and pitching a tent for the weekend in one of the nearby camping areas.

Who's all going?

I really want a new coat I hear there are a lot of good deals at hay days? I want either a motor fist coat or a Klim coat I really want a tobe but there's so spend. Are there usually good deals on those brands there? Is it pretty important to be there right away for the good deals? Sorry for all the questions I'm really bored its 100 degrees where I live and I f****** hate it with real passion.

Ive owned a few different snowmobile brand clothing over the last few years.

one thing I can say for motorfist is they have good customer service and great warrantee but I can almost guarantee that you will have to use that warrantee and send them back to get repaired or replaced every year. same goes for klim, hmk's and slednecks gear that I have, not 1 set of clothing has made if a full season for me. the only thing I havent tried are ToBe and I plan on getting a onezie this year to try them out too.

I belive in layering clothing and the most important thing is too keep dry and since my outer layer coats/snowpants keep failing year after year I now use Carhartt's waterproof/windproof/breathable shells, for an outer layer you just cant beat them. then I just layer the rest of my clothes underneath depending on the weather. Ive been out in -35f with proper layering in the winter and all the way thru fishing season here going on 3 seasons now same set of gear not one nick, hole, tare or failure of these things and I am not nice to my clothing...

PS Im jealous you are going to haydays, its a bucket list item I need to check off!

Ya I'm sure all the brands have some downfalls. That is a good idea tho I like the carhart stuff I may have to take a look into that stuff.

Klim makes some very good stuff , I sent my pants in this year for warranty after 5 years because my but got alittle wet and they sent me new ones , my dad is using my old jacket and ita 8 years old ( it's yellow and looks good with his sled ) I have a blue one and never had a problem with them .
I love the stuff , I'm head to toe Klim ;)!

Awesome I'll b up early then first to the klim tent

I think it's open at 7am Saturday

Just keep in mind that you have to do the layering system for it to work the way it was made to ;)!
Just a tip : get three base layers that way you don't have to wash it everyday , I have 5 base layers and works out pretty good

All I found was racing starts at 9am. A schedule will probably be posted somewhere on the grounds.
