Ok this is my last concern and get allot of mixed feedback from locals on the durability of Apex headers on boost. I realize the Apex headers are different to the RX-1 and are prone to failure on boosted sleds. I don’t want my sled torn down and not replace the header while apart if need be. I have heard I don’t need to change the header and I also heard the Apex headers won’t last. What should I do?

Thanks

Dan

get a set of the stainless ones from a RX-1 ;)!

hey George,

so the stock apex headers will break or melt? we have locals with no issues with the stockers, but I also hear that I should change the headers. How long will it take them to have a header failure?

I think they will last alot longer if your just riding trails. I put on 1,000kms of deep powder heavy load riding this year before my stock apex header cracked. If your worried just get a set of the rx-1 headers and add 50mm to them then no problems after that! Cheers!!
