Just looking for some advice (positives and negatives), about going to an excell header, I currently have a Skinz Undertunnel kit, I have no problems going to the header, but the power commander has me a bit nervous. Are they plug and play? Easy to mapp? Do they come pre-mapped? Is my sled going to be ridiculously loud and i'll regret it (I can handle lots of noise lol)? Power-gains worth it? Any issues with buying a used header? Need some direction!! lol

It the easiest thing to plug in....if you buy it from Ulmer it should come mapped for your mods...and a header is a great addition with good gains....shouldn't be much louder than it currently is.

No worries, Aaron is a good guy to deal with, good products and stand behind them.

I would assume changing weights in clutch also would have to be done. Would Ulmer have recommendations on this or trial and error?

I am sure allen would give you a good spot to start, might not be bang on but every sled is a little different . I didn't change my clutching the first season with the PC5 and i hit the limiter the odd time, but not much. Worth changing around the clutch setup for sure.

Yikes... This is getting expensive! $400 header, $400 Power Commander, $400 clutch kit, then extrovert drivers. Adding up too fast!!!
