For those that have had to replace there front heat exchanger could you go threw the process for me please. And is it a big job? i am assuming skid track ,drive axel would all have to come out but what about hose routing is it a
?

Oh boy!!!!.... i did this this past summer....
Remove suspension, axle, chaincase... everyhting!!!
need to remove rear engine Bolt... its the 18" long bolt that rubs thru the exchanger.... get a good drill.. tyhere are about 30 rivets to be drilled disconnect coolant lines below motor.....
this is a big job... I'm not going to beat around the bush. If the hole is repairable i would not remove from sled... bring sled to a good welder and have it repaired in the machine... if i had to do this again that would be the route. i only had a new rad on the shelf.
the front rad acts as part of the frame. basically its the first thing to go into the sled... and the last to come out.
