heat exchanger ?

I have heard that the '09 Apex has a rear heat exchanger as standard equipment but have not confirmed it myself.

I am not sure if the Yamaha dealer's have the '09 spare parts list yet.

I'm going after my dealer to see if Yamaha will do anything for us who bought the sled last year without the exchanger. Can't hurt to ask.

say. i live in sweden and my apex went
warm many times last year, spesially wene
i carry my 3year old son, max speed 40km/h.
i think the rear exchanger would help the problm.

I'll post whatever happens. I have already talked with him and he agrees that something should be done. They don't have anything on the 09's yet so he suggested waiting a month or so till they get back into snow mode.

When I snow checked my '08 I ordered the cooler at the same time and picked it up on delivery of my sled and installed myself its the exact same as '09 have w/grooves in it for the tunnel protectors, I paid $149.00 thats in fall of '07 now they seemed to have gone up in price...here's a pic

The 2009's do have the rear heat exchangers. Saw them at the dealer. I also had overheat problems and worked with my dealer and lots and lots of calls to yamaha. Both yama and dealer paid half and I now have a rear heat exchanger on my sled....
