Heat gauge bar graph to digital readout?

I overheard some guys talking the other day about having their gauge readout "flashed" to change the temp gauge from a bar graph to a digital number readout.Is this a possibility for the Yamaha gauge?

No flash needed. Cycle till your temp is displayed. Press and hold button while it's displayed. Digital reading will diplay in bar graph.
