Here is my rant (I'll admit it):
I have Heel Clicker Drag and Flys and I'm about done with them. The hardware they provide are pure junk. The bolts just strip out. The problem is he runs his arms through a heat process after manufacture that hardens/ shrinks them, so the bolts don't want to screw in. Then the crappy hardware provided just strip out. I find myself having to drill out/ extract every bolt I install with an extractor. Pure junk.
Then to boot, have you ever called and spoke to Randy Nouis. Total pompous jerk. I'm sorry if he's anyone's buddy, but he's just lost my biz permanently. Incidentally, Cindy Nouis is polite -- your lucky if you get her...

Liquid Blue
Extreme
I know what you mean. That's why I went with Simons CPR for my Viper, and Ulmer's for the Apex.

Well, I spoke to Randy again and I may have a bad arm or two. One of my 3 arms I haven't had an issue with, but two of them I keep stripping bolts.
I've never used loc tite and these HC Drag and Fly's were brand new last October. They are basically brand new as until recently I've done zero tuning with them -- just installed VX1R's recipe and let them ride. But recently I've had time to tinker with them and on the reinstall of every screw in two of the arms they were stripping out badly. I believe I just got two arms out of a bad batch or something.
In any event, Randy did say to send them back in the other day so I did that this morning. He had said he would swap them out. I'm going to do that.
I have run 40-10's in my Mt Viper for years. When I bought the sled with the 40-10's already installed in 2005 the bolts were stripped out installed in there from the previous owner. I had to extract them back them to make changes. But with new hardware since then they have worked fine and I like them.
Maybe Randy was having a bad day, but good customer service goes a long way to fix problems/ customer frustrations. Bad customer service tends to alienate customers, obviously.
