06 Nytro comes into my garage that doesn't start. I pull the carb rack and clean it (I think very well) and it pops right off at the touch of a key. But now it misses slightly at idle, has about half the power and tops out at 60. You have to feather the throttle, if you crack it... it dies.

When I pulled the carbs the fuel screws were all different so I reset them to 2 turns out.

Any ideas of what the problem could be? I am taking off the carb rack but wanted to see if someone had any ideas of things to look for on these Kehin carbs.

Thanks!

Did you pull the pilot jets and mains and clean them? That would be the first thing to do. Soak them in carb cleaner for a couple of hours and then blow them out. Also make sure your carb vents aren't pinched.

I did, I soak all brass in works bathroom cleaner and it works every time at eating all the varnish out. That's why I am confused. I guess I was also worried that I put the washer and seal in the wrong order on the end of the spring for the fuel screw but I don't think so.

I did notice that about 30 minuted after I ran it the when I had the hood up I saw bubbles still moving around in the clear tubes by the front of the gas tank..???

I would also check the throttle cable free play You had the carb rack off and may have re-routed the throttle cable accidentally. Almost sounds like a TORS problem to me........worth a look.
