- 2009 Yamaha nytro and polaris 600 rush
Ok guys I am going to explain this the best I can. I was doing a track and driver swap on my nytro. I had some help from a guy that has done a few track swaps and knows his way around a sled. I followed TTabs instructions on how to measure and press the avids on. Everything was going pretty well and we made it past the reverse linkage bump with little problems. Thinking we were in the clear and on the home stretch. Not So! We got it all back together and went to adjust the track and noticed that the drivers were riding on the right side of the track windows. We looked deeper and found the track was rubing on a bolt up front near the suspension mounting point on the left side and the track rides nice in the rear for all the clearances but up front looks out of wack. You can't get your pinky between the track and tunnel up front on the clutch side but you can get your entire thumb in between on the other side. The clearances in between the rear mounting brackets and track are nice and equal. It is really noticable when the sled is on its side and you look through the windows and in the back you see the hyfax fills up the space but up front you see they get off track. What the heck is going on???? We adjusted the track several times and it did move but never solved the issues. It is like I need to take the track at the front of the sled and yank it towards the chain case side only in the front. The way I sit right now the track hits clutch side, drivers hit windows on chain c. side which you would think would want to pull the track away from hitting, and the rails look like they are pointing towards the chaincase side. PLEASE HELP WITH ANY AND ALL IDEAS SOON.
Thank you
