I install a 180lbs spring on my BTX for better transfer. However once the spring showed up the spring was only 7 inches long, it needed to be at least an extra inch longer. So as you can see in the picture I added some washers to use as spacers to make up for the extra inch. I have a trip planned for Monday and there isn't enough snow here to test it out. Do anybody see any issues I might have with this?

as long as there isn't any thread under a washer you should be alright. Washers might bugger up any threads they ride on after time.
