Have it welded, $120 us for a new one or buy used. I build new ones from steel because rails bend there when sled is beat on. Steel is slightly stronger and doesn't break when you stress it.

OK thanks. but when I take it off will it be under pressure from the shock? Or is there an easier way to get it out of there? I just re did my whole skid and must have over looked this part when it was on the bench [emoji20]Have it welded, $120 us for a new one or buy used. Strong weld job will be as good as another one
That stiffener is not under any pressure from the suspension. Both of mine were broken in the same place. I got some used ones from Travis at BOP. http://www.barnofparts.com/Rail-Savers-for-136--Mono.html
I used a body bonding adhesive when I put the new used ones on. Have not cracked yet.
Also look at the rear arm where it bolts into the rail. They are known to crack or oblong the rail.
