Ryen, it isn't stock. I took the FRA (full rate adjuster) out of the tunnel and cut it and the alluminum shaft to fit between the rails. This gives you a ride similar to the M-10 suspension that Polaris uses. For some close up pictures of it and a quick description of how to do it go the the RX mountain suspension setup topic the the RX/RS mountain section. I have a few pictures of it on page two of that topic.

Here's an updated picture of the sled taken today after washing her up. ;)! I also updated my list of alterations made to the sled that are in my first post. The exhaust tips are now polished with red anodized paint inside the slots for the allen bolts and on the inside taper around each exhaust outlet.

And here's the latest pictures of the sled. It now has a low profile red chrome windshield and the traction bars on the edge of the running boards are now red annodized paint.

I now have Fly bars and 8" pivot riser but, am still waiting on my brake line, throttle cable and grab handle from MPI to arrive. I'll get pictures posted once they arrive.

Well, Santa's helper just dropped off three boxes of crap today. Here's what my hearth for the wood stove looks like at the moment. I'll take pics of the sled once the kit is installed.

now, if you had an ekholm tunnel, with drop and roll, 162" track and an ekholm skid, that thing would be PERFECT!

LOL, I have one of the items you listed. I do have a 162" track. The skid and tunnel (w/built in D&R) will probably happen neaxt year. I just can't afford it this season.

I'm also kind of partial to having the stock heat exchangers under my feet. I like not having the running boards full of ice. My wife's Polaris has the exchangers on the edge and they ice up right where I like to place my feet.

Jim.

The MPI Stage 1 SC is IN!!!! :Rockon: MAC at MPI didn't want me to run it with the red Holtzman Engineering Carb Springs but I can't find mine and couldn't wait for the ones I ordered today to get here.

Here's the initial report and pics;

Sled was running a little lean (17-18) at 3117" elevation so I slid the choke to about 1/4 on and droped the A/F down to th 12 range. I don't know if this is because of the Red Springs or not. I normally ride at 6500-10,000+ in elevation anyhow.

The fugger sure pulls. As a matter of fact, I had to go back to the garage and tighten up the clamps on the bars some more. :Rockon: The bars pulled back about 3 inches from the sled trying to leave out from under me ( BOOSTED :4STroke: ). It doesn't have that slight surge like the rear mount turbo I rode.

Note, I don't have the SC oil temp or the RPMs working on the Daytona guage. There is a factory oil tempsensor that causes the idiot lighs to flash on the main instrument cluster (this one requires me to drill and tap the oil resevoir) and, I still have the main tach.
