I am curious how your conversation went on last monday with Bender when you told him the set up he gave you was a turd.
Also I found my bog.
Evidently when I pulled the carbs to richen the fuel screws I tipped the carbs up turned the screws and reinstalled the carbs, in doing so the fuel lines got caught under the fuel bowl and were pinched between the fuel bowl and the crank case vent pipe.

Hey ted,you have a chassie dyno, can you do your sled? And if so how much hp at track? thanks Pete
Hey Ted,
They told me they couldn't understand why it did not work and that
I was the first person to complain. I spoke with the person who set
it up for my sled and told him that I wanted a 58-38 with a .46
progression and he said it would never pull it. They did not have
a 58-38 so they sent me a 56-38. Was on the lake yesterday and
I must say that it is now damn close to perfection. With the 46-34 F
helix they sent me originally I was reving 10500 initial and then
falling back to 10000 with lots of belt dust and no acceleration.
Now 10600 initial falling back to 10400 and pulls hard all the way.
I am going to play with it a little more to see if I can keep it at 10600 all the
way. Easily handled a 03 ZR9, 04 800 HO, Triple pipe Viper and
XC 800 that were on the lake with us.

Hey RB i am a little confused, what helix did you have in for your 10,600 rpm full shift, the 56/38 they sent you or the 46/34?

The 10600 is with the 56-38 .46 progression. Tomorrow I will try
and switch to 56-40 .46 and see if it will hold 10600 all the way.

mnmsnowbeast, Yes I do have a brand new Superflow chassis dyno facility, but I don't think I can get the sled to work on it.
Went back up to Otis today just got back, I got the Warrior running real good, I am happy.
Went 101 on radar, within the cones, I don't remember the length, I think 1000 ft.
Made a long run went 111 best and 2, 110 mph runs.
The short track RX's were running 112 and 113.
I am running Just Heavy Hitters, stock helix and spring and it is fast.
Drag raced another Warrior won by 4 lengths judged from the sidelines at end.
both had same setup in Heavy hitters but the other guy had a different helix and spring, he went 109 best on radar.
This enforces my theory about stock helix and springs they are fine and you can tune with the Heavy Hitters.
The bog returned and I bypassed the TORS but no difference, I checked the temp of the carbs and I practically burned my finger, so I turned off my carb heater coolant shut off and the Bog disappeared not to return.
If you go to the 56-40-46 it will loose even more RPM than the 56-38-46.

Hey RB what spring in the team are you running,if its a red-black which is a 140-240# let me know how it works out w/that helix my helix is a 54/34 .460 and 54/36 .460 and it works good, but w/ hh i need to take some more off the tip, only have just 3/4 bolt in,w/ no washers right now,but i have a funky spring in,out of a 700 prox it is a black-red 155-222 and i am not impressed yet, good bottom end but runs up short on top.Hi ted that seems preety good speed for the warrior,w/the 136 1.250 track, now mine runs preety good and my top end is only 6 mph faster, and i reset my tps back to .75 at idle, and heat problem seems to be gone, and idle back where it belongs, but it still seems funny, plus i changed my needles,i pulled needle back up two slots, and can only go one more richer, but have not run top end yet,but tomorrow will tell the story. Hey Ted. That was my warrior today. I think that different secondary setup I had in gave me more on the low end. When I did the roll on against your son, we hit it at about 30. I spun quite a bit and that's where he jumped me. I've probably got quite a bit of weight on him but it didn't help with the traction. I was thinking on the way home I should have put the stock helix (51/43 instead of 54/42) and spring back in and done a run. Oh well, I'm happy where it is. Quite an improvement from where I started in the morning.

Hey Monker, It was fun working with you, glad I could help some.
I think the 42 finish is too low.
I want to go to a 52-44 Dalton.
I am surprised you had a traction problem, we are running 168 and your running 186 I think is what you said.
Yours are a thinner profile than mine so you should get more penetration.
Maybe it is your pattern.
I don't believe in studding just the middle of the track, there is not enough support to make the studs dig.

Pattern could be part of the pattern too. I've been looking at adding some extra wheels to help with that. I just went down the middle since I don't go out on the ice much. I do a lot of breaking trail and have seen quite a few studs get torn out of the outside row from catching the ground or debris when leaning hard through a turn.
54-42 should be a good one to try out too. If I had one yesterday it would have been another interesting comparison.

TORS saved me last night
After completing the turbo last night I backed the sled out and started it up. I hit the gas and started to move forward. When I let off of the throttle, the sled took of like a shot and then the TORS activated. Freaked me out. I knew it was the TORS but did not know why. Ends up that the 2 inch powermadd riser is too long for the stock throttle cable. When you hit the gas, the metal end on the cable insulation pops out of the plastic housing it is supposed to rest in on the throttle.
Anyone know if there is a longer throttle dable available?

Re: TORS saved me last night
If you are on a shortie the mountain cable is longer. If you are on a Mtn sled get a stock Mountain Max cable. From what I have seen the MMX cable has to be an actual Yamaha cable. The aftermarket one I saw was not as long.

I am on a warrior. I ordered a rx-1 mountain cable yesterday.
