Hi Guys,
Wondering if there is anyone that uses them and thinks they are worth the $200 a set......?
Can't keep a set of hyfax on my Phazer for much more than 600 miles. Starting to get desperate.
Thanks!

I would look into adding more and larger wheels to reduce the drag that is wearing your sliders down...cheaper than those Hiperfaxes imo.
Try a search on the subject.

I bought a 97 700 sx with them on. It was a grass drag sled, hus thats why they wher on it. I found that after ridding it on snow and jumping and all around beating the graphite cracked and fell out. It takes no time at all to melt through a spot the insert is gone in. Waste of money if you ask me. The grafite sldes seem to work better than plain slides, but they turn your skid all black. Maxdlx

No, I tried a set last year and they were gone after 200 miles. I have 1200 miles on my Phazer and slides are still good, mostly trail riding and a good amount of low snow conditions.

i changed my first set at about 500 miles.
I put 2 small wheel kits & larger wheels in and still are on my second set and have on 2600+ miles. running a lot of glare ice and low snow conditions.
I'm thinking for the money, I'd look at different wheels.
3 rear f-cat wheels,2 yamaha extra wheels kits, 2 inside Cat wheels

What slides are you using right now?
Is the wear from poor conditions?
I always just run the yamaha graphite slids and they wear well.
I have used the aftermarket super slippery slides and others
I looked at how they all held up and decided to run the OEM graphite.

This last set are the OEM Graphite and they are doing better. Some of the wear is from poor condidtions, some from high speed hardpack.
I guess the part that really gets me is the F8 that is running right beside me shows literally no wear while mine wear down to half in one day.
