As the title implies... I hit a stump. Right side lower A arm, tie rod and looks like shock are toast. Upon further inspection the lower A arm mount is cracked where its welded into the bulkhead. Havent gotten any farther into it yet.
As of now im not really sure what to do. I was going to just buy the parts and replace but im thinking I should maybe call insurance. Any thoughts?

We had one last year that bent the sub frame. If you have a reasonable deductible I would contact your insurance company. Its not a hard job but parts add up quickly.

Are you ok? Must have been a big time hit.

Any pics? Bulk head unbolts minus a few rivets

It actually wasnt a big hit. I was going about 15 and didnt even get jerked into the bars. Just a little bump and a loud POP. Actually kinda puzzled at how bad the damage is.

i bought and repaired a sidewinder that hit a tree left a arms You really need to inspect it piece by piece as sometimes you don,t see a bend till you try to put on a straight part like stated parts add up quick and be amazed how many pieces bend from a small hit

Like the signs say “STAY ON MARKED TRAILS” it’s only money!

Yeah that really sucks and can happen to anyone. Looks pretty complicated whereas it damaged more then just front end components, so if you can, use your insurance for sure and have it repaired correctly.
