2010 RS VECTOR GT LTX STOCK FOR NOW!
Hey guys question for you on the clutching. I am a good all around mechanic but i dont really understand clutching and not sure how to tell if im set up right. The main reason for this post is im getting smoked by a 2011 ski doo mxz tnt etec. Im not to happy!
My set up is as follows:

Stock motor and clutch 3500 miles.
151 expert x with an non studdes 1.25 ice ripper
13mm sway bar 2" risers apex seat.

What should i be looking for when running.... I feel like i get more pull at 3/4 throttle vs full. im maxed out at 105 on the dream meter at 10200rpm.

Thanks guys jdp :o|

Your rpm,s are spot on.
151 track will nuke at least 15 mph from you.
You do realize the doo has 25 more hp & is over 150 pounds lighter??

Didnt reallize that the 600 doo had more hp well i guess im not going to worry about it.
Thanks Turk

Sorry
thought he had a 800.
The 600 has about 120 hp but is way lighter & they got some good legs.

are you running stock gearing?
8 tooth drivers?

with a 1 1/4" ripsaw, stock gearing, 8 tooth drivers and a few other mods I was able to see 115mph on the DM, after I put Doo 9 tooth drivers it brought my DM into spec, it reads 98mph on it and the radar says the same, I think you can improve on your setup but I don't know if it will be enough to beat that TNT

I forgot to ask, does he just blow by you on top end or is he beating you from the start

i cant keep up off the start and most of the pull thru top end if i have a mile i might finaly get him.

stock gearing and stock 9 tooth drivers
thanks jdp

put on an ecp kit w/evac and heavy hitters. I can see 124 on dm with my 136 m10. plus I am running lower gears.

I raced a TNT ss today from a roll and pulled 2-3 sled lengths and that was it, I'm sure if it was from a dig it would've been closer since I hear those sleds come out of the hole pretty good, I think you need to do some tuning and you should be able to take that etec
