how many miles?

hey guys I was talking to a buddy about miles on our atvs, I'm pushing 8000 on my 02 grizz. I was at the yamaha service dept the other day and they siad that they had not run into a machine with those kind of miles. I know that a lot of quads have no way of knowing because of no odometers. But for those that do how many miles do you have? I have never made it a contest to push a lot of miles, I just like to ride and see lots of great country at all extremes. thanks.

i have over 7,000 miles on my 04 Grizz most of it is in fast riding .

WOW, 8000 and 7000. 2002 Grizzly and I got 2300, and my wife thinks I ride mine to much. I should show her this post.

I am glad to see the miles on your atv's. My 02 grizzly hasn't burned alot of oil. 'the only times I have noticed is when it has been really hot during the summer months and I am talking close to 100's or above, or when riding out at the sand dunes. thats probably because your on the throttle non stop. Tons of fun. Hey thanks for the input guys hopefully more will add.

My 06 has 2500 miles and uses oil like it was free. About 8 oz every 50 miles or so.

wow.. that much oil??? i tried using syn oil for high mileage vehicles and it almost stopped burning oil.. just burns a little by the time i have to change the oil.

I got 2000 miles on my grizzly and I only rode it for 6 months then it started snowing and I switched to the sled. I have only owned the machine for 10months. At this rate I should have 10,000 miles on in about 4 more years...

cant wait!! I ride as much as I can, in the summer atleast 2-4times a week....

same here,were on the bike constantly,sometimes i go to work everyday with it,then weekend come,were off to some bush trail,sometimes close to 200 miles in a day,the only thing is i just stopped riding my rx1 now the bike feels like a bravo,its slow but after a few rides its all good,there are alot of grizzlys around here
