how to install mono shock adjust cable

need some help installing new cable for my mono shock adjustment. im not sure where the rubber boot goes. also how do i set it up so that the shock and the adjustment dial are matching.

Look in suspension - stock section. There is a good thread started by bluemajic that deals with this.
