Im going to order a set of guantets for the cold days..

Welter,

I have been using some cheap Parts Unlimited gauntlets for a couple of weeks now. I was riding in -20 F weather and wearing my mechanix gloves. Even in that weather, I had to turn heat down to two bars and turn thumb heater down to 1 bar.

If you run gaunlets, make sure you wear thin gloves. It is a lot easier to reach your brake and gas etc. I may not ever take them off. I love riding with the thin leather gloves with no insulation.

Member BLUEDOG uses gauntlets just so he can wear very thin goves. He is always adjusting his sat radio, amplifer, communicator, flashing LED helmet lights, and taking pictures. I was keeping my Doo gauntles folded up in my rear storage comp. But using them more and going with thinner gloves would make doing my stuff including working my GPS a whloe bunch easier.
