One of my sleds is getting a 153 M7 Skid with a 162 Attack 20 in hillclimb position.
The other sled is getting an Ekholm 162 Skid with a 162 Attack 20 In hillclimb Position
Someone i know has an M7 153 Challenger, stock. He said that with a blower on my RX, i would be in M7 territory. Do you guys think that at least one of my sleds will be able to climb near the M7?

You're kidding right? With a blower you'll spank him in a point and shoot. My sled with a 162 Maverick out climbs straight up my buddies 800 Pol 159 and my other buddies 900 151 cat without even using the nitrous. You won't out boondock him but you'll outclimb him.

he hasn,t seen an rx with a sc or turbo or he would no the m7 isn,t even in the same area code, I have run against a m7 with cutler 1000 in it and it isn,t in the same area code with my turboed rx1.

Yes, this guy is a moron. He thinks he can climb with a supercharged or turbo charged RX1 with his 153 stock M7. We have a friend with a blower on his RX1 and it will outclimb ANYTHING.
So do you guys think we will stand a chance against that 153 when climbing? I mean all we really will have are longer tracks and 30 pounds lighter on the suspension. I think we will be saving around 40 pounds including the track.

If you guys are talking non boosted with a 162" it will be a close competition with the same rider on each sled. A 153" M-7 is close to a 900 RMK 151" on the hill with the weight advantage it has. As I have said earlier the wife's 900 RMK 151" lays down just as much track as my RX-1 with a 162" with extensions on the stock skid. Your sleds might do better than mine with the different skids but without boost it will still be a close race.
If you are talking about running after the blower, it will be no competition (been there done that) even against a stock M-7 LE which has a 162" and lighter components than the standard M-7s.

thanks Blgs. The Ekholm skid on mine should make it look like a 166 900, and the 153 M7 skid should look pretty long too.
If i am within 20 feet of his highmark he will be mad. Apparently he should outclimb me by a mile no matter what i do. I also plan to do my exhaust so hopefully that will do something and get me climbing near him.
