I'm changing the drivers on my 2012 Apex XTX from 9T to 8T. What chaincase gearing should I run to achieve a final drive ratio comparable to stock? I know there are some conversion charts floating around on here, but I was unable to find any using the search.
2012 Apex XTX stock gearing 23 -37
Thanks in advance for the help,
Joe

Switching to the 8T drivers will make you ratio taller numerically by a factor of 1.125, so essentially you'll be gearing down. Your stock 1.61(1.608) becomes a 1.81. To keep it around the 1.61 you would need a gear set around a 24/35=1.46 x 1.125= 1.64. Or actually any gear combo that works out to appx. 1.43 x 1.125= 1.608(1.61)
