I have an 03 rx1 and recently purchased ice scratchers... Can anyone help me with mounting them? Not sure where to put them; as most of the rail is taken up and the scratchers would be too far back if I put them in the only open spot

So the opposite side of the scratcher side; should that be parallel to the ground? How far should the scratcher be down when the ski is elevated and neutral. Having trouble determining a good position to give the scratcher appropriate downward pressure

I just held the scratcher up to the side of the ski until I was happy and marked the holes, drilled th and mounted the scratcher. I will try to get close up pictures of mine. With this type of scratcher you do have to remember to lift them up when reversing or they will bend but I just bent them back in shape. It only happens a couple times until you start to remember. Would be the same issue no matter where they are mounted.

Also make sure you instal them on the inside of the ski and not the outside, so the left one goes on the right ski and the right goes on the left ski.
