2012 Vector just wondering I should put scratchers on as its getting late in the year and not a lot of loose snow..what should I put on...?

Ski mounted. Just don't forget they are down before reversing..

I put my wifes on the rail. There is a bolt you can remove and use the Ice scratcher bolt instead. It's just behind the wheel. It hooks on the rail just behind the pivot arm It works good there because it's mounted towards the front of the rails. So lot's of snow gets kicked up on top of the track and inside of it. This has worked well for us.

Sorry I haven't gotten back. I've been busy. If you can hold off until tomorrow Eve or Fri morning the latest I can post some pictures. I can't get at the sled today but tomorrow I will be at it. I did attach a pic of the one from my Attak. The RS scratcher on my wifes machine lays much better due to a slightly different design. But the bolt shown in the pic is were you would put it.
But to give you a preview there is a bolt in the rails just behind the 2nd wheel from the front that the scratchers bolt can mount. The spring front locking sping hook can go into a groove there in the rail. The rear of the scratcher can hook on the rail just before or after the suspension arm that is mounted to the rail. Works great.
I think the scratchers would be better here then the front ski mounted ones. First when you turn the skis the scratchers get turns out of the path of the track. Second it must put a strain on the scratchers to have to rotate that much and often. They don't like that as they are brittle and snap easy. 3rd. They don't throw snow in the track to aid in laying on the hyfax and wheel bearing so keep things cool.

this is the install on both my vector ltx and attak the attak had to have a loop to hold it. The vector hangs on the rail just fine. Again there is a bolt you can take out and the ice scratcher bolt will hold the rail again.
