Here are the facts: if you own an RX1 or a Warrior you have with out a doubt the best four stroke sled available bar none! :D
Here are the stats:

Yamaha RX1 Arctic Cat Ski Doo Polaris
$8949 $8949 $8549 $7649
145 HP 998cc 4 110 HP660cc 3 Turbo 80 HP V-1000cc 2 60 HP 784cc2
Wt 553 Wt 575 Wt 562 Wt N/A

So if anyone does not like there RX1 or Warrior  You do have other choices
When I was in Canada over the weekend I saw about a dozen RX1's and Warriors and not one of these other four strokes  What does that tell you?
And you will never see these others out on the lake mixing it up with the smokers  Then they would really be embarrassed

SO GET EXCITED 8) YOU HAVE THE BEST OF THE BEST :p

i agree bob .
those cats are very few and same gose with the doo.. ..i yet to see a doo 4 stroke but hear lots about it...

i piss blue and always will , the only reason i have a doo and a f7 is for racing . i race what wins . no sense in going racing and spending so much money to loose ... so you got to do what you got to do!

I rode a Cat T660 last week and I was very impressed. I only had enough room to get it to 80 mph but it got there pretty quick. Not faster than an RX1 but it would give a lower perf 600 a good run. Big heavy pig though. I am interested to see what Cats 870 thumper is going to work like. We should find out in a couple of weeks....

I heard the AC was a wet sump tho and had a hard time starting in cold conditions?
Somone told of a guy icefishing and using a generator to plug the blockheater in to start it?

Unconfirmed is there any truth to this?

Buy one of the other Fourstrokes...... LOL..... Thats funny

If you were to look on the trails you wouldnt even know there was a other fourstroke besides the Yamahas...

The other manufactures make great skids and chassis for theirs but the motors they put in em are BOAT ANCHORS!! WITH NO HP!!

Im am sure they will catch up in the next couple of years but untill then i will LOVE my Warrior!! :D 8)

I have a buddy with the Cat 660 turbo, I took it around the parking lot to load on my trailer it seemed to be kind of sluggish. talk about heavy I had to pick the front end up to move it over on the trailer glides and couldn't move it, and no i'm no pussy, quiet sled though and should get close to 20mpg.

We rented the original AC 660 two-up in Yellowstone two years ago. Talk about s-l-o-w, maxed at 55 downhill and 40 to 45 up, even one up. At least it accelerated up to 30 OK, and got 25 mpg...

What was especially surprising was how badly it handled. Very tippy, and all over the trail'

I've rented the AC ZL500s in Yellowstone on previous trips, and they weren't bad handling sleds at all.

One of my customers has one, its not very fast (60mph) but he loves the fuel mileage, quietness and range. He traded it this year for a T660. I believe it had 4000+mi. on it.
