Does anyone have one and if so does it help with the cold start issues of the Viper and ZR7000

I am thinking about installed a pad heater strip instead of the inline heater due to easy of installation. Canadian Tire has them for vehicle oil pans, comes with a special adhesive to make it stick.
Has anyone used one of these and if so did you stick it to the sump on the right side of the sled or would it be better to stick it near the bottom of the cylinders

I installed one on my Vector & it works very well. Easy start up & light goes off with in a minute.
