I have a 2010 Vector and the rubber on the inner bogie wheels becomes destroyed shortly after new ones are installed. The track is studded and I have carefully inspected all studs and all look good and tight. I assume the back of the studs are causing this, would it be wise to remove any studs that are contacting these wheels or would leaving empty stud holes weaken the track? The studs run over other wheels as well but there are no issues with them.

It would be the stud heads causing this. Removing studs will not weaken the track IMO. Are these Yamaha OEM wheels? How about using a different brand of wheel on the inside?

It is not the studs, I've dealt with this on my '09 since i've owned it and have been studded only the last two winters. Studding neither helped nor hurt the rate at which I would lose those two rear inner wheels. I believe it to be caused by rail flex which causes the wheels to contact the edges of your track lugs, causing the rubber to weaken and then chunk apart.

I should add that I've noticed the new black spoked wheels hold together a little longer than the older wheels without replaceable bearings and are cheaper, which is nice. But I still go through a set or two a season (at least), which is usually about 2,000 miles.
