I have an 05 rage with a 136" track. I am looking to shed some weight and improve the ride. I am in the process of changing the exhaust and seat. I am thinking about a boss seat but have seen some talk about using a nitro or skidoo seat. I will be changing the handle bars and making them higher. I like the APEX neck and handle bars or from a newer vector. I am looking into putting a air intake from fix power sports on. I also want to put new front suspension from timbersled, barkbuster. I am having a very difficult time deciding on what rear suspension I should use, M10, mountain proformance, holts racing, etc? is there suspension from other manufacturers that will work?
Any info anyone has on this stuff listed above or direction into a thread on this site you know of would be great. thanks

Welcome grjimmy to TY. I have done handle bar, riser, and seat mods to my Rage. I love my sled all over again. There are a lot of posts on these mods that and with a little patience, you can find them in the search tools on this site. I went with an Apex Mountain seat on my Rage. Apex seats are getting pretty inexpensive these days. I paid $80 for mine. The Mountain Apex and 06-07' Nytro seats use a firmer foam than the regular Apex and Attak. This seat is way more comfortable than the stock Rage seat, easier to stand and to hang off of as well. I then extended all of my cables and added a 4" Rox pivot riser along with a 1" riser block. The last mod I did was added 07' Apex hooked bars. These are the ones with heating elements in the hooks. You will be amazed how the taller bars and seat transforms this sled. I am so glad I did it and wish I would have done it sooner. G.B.

Welcome grjimmy Most of the mods you discussed have been already done by Rockmeister on his rx warrior which is the same basic sled as the engines beingthe only difference he has already take all the guess work out of it when you enter the website before you pick TY4stroke check the tech section he has posts on his mods hope this helps and dont be afraid to ask for help
