Installing Yamaha Tall Windshield

Does anybody have install instructions for the tall OEM yamaha windshield?

I'd like to know, how/where to install the support bars.

One end of the bracket goes to the Phillips head on the left side of the speedo and the other end of the bracket goes to the last outside screw on the windshield. You do the same for the opposite side.

No drilling is required?

My 2006 Tall shield braces had to be mounted to the tank shroad (Yes Drilling Required) and no you can-not run without them over 50MPH, shield bends...The design of the 2011 was different with braces mounted to side. No drilling, so your 2008 requires drilling. No template required, just set it up and position bars, mark spots and remove tank shroud, drill and mount bars, re-install and connect to shield. What I told you was how I installed my Touring windshield on my 2013 Apex. No drilling required.
If your Apex is older then 2011 then it will mount differently and you will need to drill.
