Subjective question I know but I am looking for some oppinions. My buddy has an 05 RX1. If he sells it for what he is asking and buys an 06 it will cost him a total of $1400. He put on about 1600 miles on the 05.
With the 06 Apex ER, you get Fuel Injection, new rear skid zerks and updated RA boot, new rider position, new front end geometry, trunk space, new handlebar set up, and new gage.
Is it worth it to upgrade?

I think so. But in reality you gotta figure $2000 + to upgrade. The 05 has depreciated and the new one is some $600 more over last year

If you can upgrade for that do it but I think you will find it a lot more. Why wold qnybody want to buy a used sled for $1,400 less than new especially with all the changes plus he pays tax on new one so over $2,000+ would be very good.

He is asking $6900, thinks he can get into a new apex er for 8300-8500
